MysteryFriends99 is a full bestiary of 99 weird, funny, ghastly and surprising creatures. I always loved bestiaries as a child, and I wanted to capture the same kind of curiosity I had when I discovered my favorite ones
This took a lot more time than I had at first expected, thanks to everyone who waited for it.

Really neat. Many individual entries are interesting, and I think all of these pages stands together as a good collection. There is a cohesive aesthetic to them all, but the established structure is also broken on many instances, creating some standout monsters. Vreemdeling is my favorite.

this is wonderful! the dithering and the heavy use of black give everything a very eerie quality, but the descriptions give it enough humor to not just be needlessly dramatic. i read them all at night, with no lights on, and the earthbound zero soundtrack playing, and it really enhanced the experience.
